Innovation and trends in corporate world

In February 2019, during the 1st edition students’ graduation ceremony at Abat Oliba CEU in Barcelona, the MFBSE staff organized the event “Innovation and trends in corporate world”, in collaboration with the B-Corp association, Danone Spain and Pacari Chocolate. The aim was to raise awareness among our graduates and future students about how interlinked food and sustainability are, to create a better world, “el mundo que queremos”.

In February 2020, during the 2nd edition students’ graduation ceremony at Abat Oliba CEU in Barcelona, the MFBSE staff organized the event “How green is the FOODTURE?”. 

Thanks to the participation of managers and owners of brilliant food and beverage firms located in Spain, we discussed about the future of F&B industry toward sustainability, providing interesting insights to our students on how to develop a new mindset that involves all stakeholders in the supply chain and brings them to co-design new approaches to business. We agreed that people are key to any business and that also marketing and communication should turn to a higher consideration of human beings, their ideas, their opinions, their participation for higher and shared sustainable outcomes. No matter if we are talking about a micro, a small or a larger companies, sustainability and humanization need to be embedded elements of the business.
