Dr Chiara Civera is a Research Fellow in Business and Management, qualified as Associate Professor in Italy, and Adjunct Professor of Strategic Marketing at the University of Turin, Department of Management, Italy. She has a PhD in business and management from the University of Turin, Department of Management. She is visiting professor and researcher at Abat Oliba CEU (Barcelona), London South Bank University (London, UK) and Darden School of Business (Virginia, US). She publishes in top-tier international journals such as British Food Journal, Journal of Business Research, Business Ethics: a European Review, and Psychology and Marketing around the topics of Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability, Communication, Stakeholder Engagement and Empowerment applied to various industries with a focus on the food and beverage industry and its sectors, such as the coffee chain. She is the author of the book “Integrated Company Responsibility in the Food and Beverage Industry” (preface by Ed R. Freeman).

She has published books in the area of international law and the social and solidarity economy. Member of university networks specializing in the social economy. She is adviser to the regional government of Catalonia on social programs and she has received several awards for his work in support of the fight against social exclusion through employment.
